This website provides services for many different types of groups including new Cal Poly freshmen and transfer students, their families and guests, student volunteer Orientation Leaders, Cal Poly clubs, resources in the San Luis Obispo community and the Friends of WOW (FOW) Alumni Chapter.

Mission Statement

The Week of Welcome Orientation Program offers new students and their families a successful transition into the college experience. Our program is comprised of a team of student leaders and university officials who provide an introduction to academic and social resources, encourage awareness, and promote relationships with the campus and community environment.

The Week of Welcome also provides orientation materials for new students entering Cal Poly during Winter and Summer quarters.
