6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.	Club Preview Night at Farmers' Market	Downtown SLO

	Join the Open House committee and student clubs on Broad Street, at Farmers' Market in Downtown San Luis Obispo. Held every Thursday night (except on Thanksgiving and when it rains), this local tradition is a street fair and produce market. Locals and visitors enjoy the county's freshest produce and flowers, devour delicious ribs, browse local shops open late and enjoy assorted live entertainment. Recognized as a leader of such activities in California, Farmers' Market is held on six blocks of Higuera Street, between Osos and Nipomo streets. The area is closed to traffic and city ordinance prohibits dogs from attending.

Admitted Students' Preview Day focuses on conditionally admitted students and their supporters. You will be introduced to Cal Poly's nationally recognized academic programs and friendly faculty and staff. Take full advantage of this opportunity to meet college deans, tour the campus and departments and become acquainted with the resources available to Cal Poly students. Don't forget to attend "Friday Nite Invite: Design '09," where you'll enjoy free food, meet current and future students, win free prizes, and explore what the University Union has to offer including pool, live music, games and a rock wall. Parents and supporters are invited to a coffee house hosted by WOW and parent programs.

Campus Tours are provided every hour on the hour from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meet in the University Union Plaza.

6:00 p.m.	#16 Mustang Baseball vs. UC Davis	Baggett Stadium

	Game 1 of a 3-game series! Cal Poly Baseball opens a three-game home stand against the rival Aggies of UC Davis tonight at Baggett Stadium. Tickets for all three games are on sale at the box office in front of the Rec Center until 4 p.m., Friday 4/17 and from the box office at Baggett Stadium two hours prior to each game!

	Join us to celebrate our western heritage at the 69th annual Poly Royal Rodeo. Top college rodeo athletes from the Western United States compete in nonstop rodeo action on Friday and Saturday. Tickets will be available at the Rodeo Office (805) 756-5370 or the Cal Poly Rodeo Arena.

7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.	Friday Nite Invite: Design '09	University Union First Floor

	Prospective students can meet soon-to-be classmates while bowling, playing arcade games, listening to live local bands, playing poker, and enjoying pizza -- all for free! The craft center and rock climbing wall will also be open and free to everyone who comes to this event!

7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.	WOW & Parent Program present: Parents' Coffeehouse	University Union Chumash Auditorium

	If this is this your first time having someone leave your home for college, this is the perfect opportunity for you to share your concerns with other parents. If this is not your first time, this is your chance to impart your hard-earned wisdom to first-time college parents. The Week of Welcome program’s nationally recognized student orientation leaders will be offering advice and sharing stories. Refreshments will be provided.

Campus showcase day focuses on displaying the opportunities Cal Poly has to offer. From department tours to club exhibitions, more than 200 student clubs and organizations team up to offer educational, informational and concession booths for you to visit. Make sure to join us in time to watch the Poly Royal Parade at 9 a.m. Stop by Dexter Lawn to see a full lineup of student talent on the Main Stage. The Kids’ Fair, located in the University Union Plaza, is perfect for kids of all ages, featuring activities like a bounce house, face-painting and much more! So come feast on everything from tri-tip to cotton candy. Afterwards, experience the excitement of competition with special events such as the Truck and Tractor Pull, Roborodentia, Rodeo, and the Music Department's Open House Concert.

9:00 a.m.	Poly Royal Parade	Perimeter Road

	The spirit of excellence and tradition return to Open House weekend with the Poly Royal Parade. Campus and community clubs and organizations will be participating in this romp around Perimeter Road. The parade will end at Dexter Lawn to kick off the day with the Opening Ceremonies.

10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.	Kids' Fair	University Union Plaza

	On Saturday, selected clubs gather in the University Union Plaza to cater to future generations of Cal Poly students at the Kids’ Fair. Cal Poly Open House welcomes children from families of local residents, as well as prospective students, to participate in carnival games, face painting and more!

	Don’t forget to bring your appetite and a ton of energy, because over 200 clubs are competing for your excitement and your stomach. From lumpia to tri-tip, the clubs and organizations are making anything and everything to appease your hunger. Saturday’s club showcase highlights the variety of groups and activities available and is an opportunity for new students to connect with clubs that they may be interested in joining.

	At the hub of all the festivities is Main Stage. All day, out on Dexter Lawn, clubs will be performing and showcasing their talents for all to see. Come watch clubs showcase their talent in performances ranging from skits and staundup comedy to poetry slams and dance routines. Main Stage is not only great entertainment but also a great opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with the clubs and organizations of Cal Poly.
