Después del fin de semana de Open House, el comité selecciona un tema para el año siguiente. En la caída, el nuevo comité de Open House tiene un concurso de diseño de cartel con la clase Digital de Tipografía de Profesor Lorena Donegan . El cartel seleccionado es distribuido por todas partes del campus, San Luis Obispo y al estado. Los elementos del cartel son utilizados en todas las materiales promocionales de Open House y incluye el folleto, la tarjeta postal, la camiseta, el programa y el sitio web.
