Selected by the board and the assistant director, these 49 returning student volunteers have one of two Team roles: Facilitators and Production Crew members. The Production Crew (PCs) are the “behind the scenes” staff and are the backbone of TEAM. They are responsible for creating weekly training skits, for making sure TEAM has the materials they need, and have the option to help train the student leaders also. Facilitators (FACs) are directly responsible for training and evaluating a group of student leaders. It's important to note that PC's and FACs have the same training. In the event a FAC cannot fulfill their duty, a PC must be ready to step in and take over. Along with their team roles, Team members are assigned to different committees to assist the board members in creating and organizing training activities and events during WOW. |

These student leaders (LIT's) have direct contact with the incoming students. These students go through ten weeks of high-energy training. Approximately 697 student volunteers train three hours of every Tuesday night in preparation for the week of welcome. They have the choice of being Staff members or Orientation Leaders in the fall. Staff members help setup and break down events, register new students, and make sure the week runs smoothly. Orientation Leaders are usually paired male-female and have between 12 and 20 new students. |
